  1. Moe, you know you can ALWAYS get help from home. I know things are going to get better, and you'll get your "feet back on the ground". Life has a way of both disappointing us and satisfying us. The trick is to "plan for the worst, and hope for the best." I remember my Dad teaching me how to water ski. "Keep your feet apart, and your knees bent to absorb the shock of the rough water" he told me. It worked! basically keep the focus ahead, anticipate, and "absorb the shock", or jump as high as you can! I never thought of it as a metaphor for life, but it's not bad. Here's another one that Uncle Frank and Auntie Lucille always told me in reference to water skiing, but I think you can see the metaphor: "Don't let go of the ski rope unless both shoulders are in the water!" You'll never experience the incredible high of overcoming the seemingly impossible unless you grit your teeth and play it to the end. Sure love you sweetheart. Keep your knees bent, and HANG ON!

  2. Wow, dad...that's deep!

Maggie. You know I love you. And you know I'm here for you, as are sooooo many of us. Just remeber, no one can help unless they know you need it! You've got to ask--a valuable lesson you're learning the hard way.

    Keep going, twinnie!
